I had a HP 44 front I was going to re tube but I just didn't have the equipment I needed at my old place. I do intend on building a matched set of HP d44s front and rear with 35 spline internals for my next toy. I put all my current effort into the business.

A friend of mine spotted this a few weeks ago and the current owner told him he rolled it 3 times and drove it away. Cool but sad.
A-
So you had high steer on your d30? That's cool, that's some beefy steering too.

I feel you on the equipment thing.....only I have basically no fab. equipment except a grinder I want to get a Lincoln 220v PowerMig.

That is cool, but sad.

today i got my aluminum plate to re cap the rear of the cab . figured i'd chop and searched Google a lot and hadn't seen a 2d with the small pop outs still being used. so here is my king cab Cherokee project

looks like i will be able to mount a full sized bucket seat behind my front seats like jump seats. the new rear of the cab will have windows and a slider door. mite be nice to have it open on a hot day.

any one else done any thing to their chopped rig lately ?

I am just in the middle of chopping my XJ.. Just need to finish a few things up but these are my pictures..

I have got a sub floor and sides all done but no pictures.. Also kind of stumped on how i want to mount the tail gate so it is on a hinge system.

Thanks. I don't have a build thread on it. I spent years customizing for a living and I'm the worst about saying "Hey, I have an idea. Hand me that plasma cutter and a hammer". 14 hours later as I'm pulling it out of the shop and I think to myself that maybe I should have taken a couple pictures along the way.
