2x2 Rockers
Wondering if anybody has used this for rockers instead of 2x4 or 2x6 Was thinking i will add some 1/8th inch plate on the bottom to tie it in over to the pinch seam or past if i need to would like to use 2x4 or 2x6 but i have enough 2x2 laying around i wouldn't have to buy anything. if anybody has done this and posted on here let me know i looked but everybody was using 2x4 or 2x6. Just doing this for rust repair

sure you can. are your rockers rusted out or are you planning on putting the sliders below your good clean rockers?
you can always weld on a piece of 1x1 angle to the brackets to bolt up to the pinch seam for added strength. that's my plan when i do sliders on one of mine. 2x2 is much lighter than 2x4.
but for the one with rusted out rockers, i'm gonna use 2x4 to fill the gap.

driver side is rusted out. the other side is fine. never had the chance to take it off road mainly just used as everyday driver and getting thru snow in the winter. i might so the 1x1 on the pinch seam to make it strong there and plate to the 2x2. i have a little bit of rust past the pinch seam but i cleaned it off and por 15 on it.
