Default VOTE! for the July Cherokee of the Month!

1: HavenSOV

Bertha
1991 XJ Larado
4.5 Rough Country Lift
Rustys Adjustable Track Bar
JCR Stage 2 Sliders
JCR Stage 3 Rear Bumper
JCR custom built TC Belly skid
31x10.5 Dakota M/T's
Chrysler 8.25 rear axle
Tubes on top for caring fight staffs

All work done by my wife any I, with occasional help from some friends. We wheel over MI and sometimes into IN and IL. We build this XJ to not only go offroading with but to also get us around the Ren Faires that we do, so there's a good chance you will see us pulling trailers or working sites at Ren Faires all over the great lakes.

2:89WhiteXJ

1989 Cherokee Lerado
6.5 lift
33x12.5 Tires
15x10 Rims

I bought this jeep in April 2009 and so far have added a 6.5 Rough Country lift. WE hanged headgasket, powersteering pump, motor mounts, headliner and a few other odd ends. The lift was completed with stock control arms just so I can take it too the mud hole in the photo.
Thanks
Frankie

Rig Spec's;

Model - 1997 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4 door.
Engine - I6 4.0H.O. stock as a rock.
Transmission - 5 speed manual AX-15.
Transfer case - 231 with TerraLow 4:1 and Rubicon Express slip yoke eliminator.
Driveshafts - Phoenix Rack and Axle heavy duty front, Tom Woods rear.
front axle - Dana 30, Warn skid plate, Spicer 4.56's and Detroit TrueTrac.
rear axle - Chrysler 8.25, 29 spline, RuffStuff cover, Spicer 4.56's and Detroit TrueTrac.
Wheels/tires - Stock steel wheels, 33x10.5-15 Super Swamper TSL's.
Steering - Kevin's Off Road double shear track bar, Currie heavy duty stock replacement steering, Old Man Emu stabilizer, RigidCo steering box bracing.
Suspension front - Old Man Emu 2" coils, coil spring spacer, Old Man Emu long travel shocks, Rubicon Express super flex control arms extended bump stops, YJ braided brake lines.
Suspension rear - Old Man Emu 2" medium duty leafs, TeraFlex shackles, Old Man Emu long travel shocks, YJ braided brake line.
Armor - RigidCo front bumper with additional cross member and chassis reinforcing, TnT belly skid and chassis reinforcing, C4x4F rock rails with modified mounting/reinforcing, stock gas tank skid, C-Rok rear bumper (diff armor noted above).

Jeep started life as my girlfriends (now wife) daily driver, bought as a leftover off the lot.
It was the total grocery getter model, 225 all season tires, no skids, no recovery, space saver spare and open diff.
I added rock rails, skids tow hooks, trailer hitch, full sized spare and 235's and wheeled it that way for years.
The experience gained wheeling an essentially stock vehicle has been invaluable.
It later received bumpers, belly pan, chassis reinforcing, diff protection, gears and 31's. It only lived like that for a year.
I added beefier steering components, control arms, 33's and long travel shocks.
The Jeep is my daily driver, and it gets wheeled and the Arizona rocks often.

4:That Jeep Guy XJMJ

1987 jeep comanche
-8.5" lift w/ 33" BFG mudd terrains
-4.0 I6
-242 t-case
-Chysler 8.25 rear, dana 30 front
-interior swapped out for buckets, full center-counsil and steering wheel swap from the column shifter

bought the rig from a friend who was losing everything in a divorce... his house, his cars, his dog..
the comanche was a gift from his dad who passed and he had ambitions of lifting it but never the funds.. so he sold it to me for a quick $500 and seriously cried when he saw this thing 8.5" over stock with a set of 33's he told me some time later that he would brag to his work buddies and other friends about how the kid he sold it to has really put it to good use..
this jeep was also the inspiration for my brother to get into jeeping and he has been bit by the bug also

5:broncofire75

1998 Jeep XJ 4.0L auto

App Armor TC skid, Custom sliders, CB, Aplin speakers and CD player, sound deadened interior, trimmed fenders, custom bumpstops front and rear, AA SYE with auto ZJ shaft, AFE intake, bored TB, Magnaflow muffler pipe cut above axle, and a lot more

Bought my Jeep bone stock in June of 08. Started with a simple 4" lift and 32s and that didnt satisfy me. I swapped and traded my way to where Im at now. On a slightly tight budget working 30 hours a week and being 19 hinders the upgrades but I think Ive done well to make it my own. I wheel it regularly and suprisingly keep it in great shape. Next on the list is a RE HD track bar and brace and steering box brace. Soon coming a front winch bumper and LP8000 Superwinch.
