I've been a long time member of rcc for years. I really miss having time to get out and crawl with the girl. We used to host comps in the back yard (built a pretty big course) and I made a ton of custom and prototype parts back when I still had my Mill / Lathe equipment. I even proto'd a drilled gear set for RC4WD and started the Bully II wide track prototype. I've sold off everything but the dual steer 2.2 MOA one off crawler and gear.
Not a sale thread, but PM if you're interested.
Here's some shots over a few years. The girl and used to climb around rocks and hunt for wheeling spots, now she's grown up and driving the XJ over anything and everything we can find. lol some things never change. For that,,,, I'm thankful.

Just got one of these SCX-10 II with the XJ body. Still building it. Chassis is pretty much done minus a details. Steering servo is in. Still need to get a radio/rx, esc, and motor. I got paint matched to my XJ as well. Should look pretty good when its all done!

No, I don't lick fish.
Technically relevant... they're not mine, but here's a compilation of RC aviation fails for ya.

Painting my SCX10ii finally.
Used a plastic white paint basecoat, and then a GM paint color color to paint the Jeep. So not a 100% color match, but it's pretty darn close. Hopefully will get to the black accents and clear coats tomorrow, and be able to put the stickers on the Jeep as well.

Paint is done now. Nowhere near perfect, but it is an XJ after all. Pretty darn close I'd say minus the flares, but I don't have a choice with that.

I still think it turned out great. No need to be perfect anyway, gonna wind up gettin' scratched up on rocks and whatnot when you crawl it.
