I got a new toy (plane) the other day to go with my helicopters.

Helicopter is a Blade 450 3D and is a blast to fly.

The plane is just fun and relaxing break from the helis. I'm saving up for a bigger heli now (600 sized which is 45" long) which is kind of hard cause i'm also saving for a 3 link and 35s.

I also have a team losi micro desert truck which I want to convert to brushless and lipo because the regular stuff has stopped working.

We have an Axial Ridgecrest and SCX10 Jeep Wrangler Rubi RTR for about a year now, love those things! That said,I haven't had op to charge and run either (gave the Ridgecrest to my 12 year old son) in months . Have almost enough upgrades ready to install to nearly build a pair of other trucks,LOL,just haven't had time (or being honest...haven't been in the mood of late) to install any of them yet :P

My sailplane went in the ocean, again.
Dry it out, replace the ESC and a servo or two, then back in the sky.

Watch tour temps that's a high Kv motor for sand. My Vxl got very hot in sand on 3s. And the Vxl is only 3600kv

Class 2 and 3 scale comp trucks.

Class winning machines. Tons of hours in both of these.

Yah I had problems with temp in pavement (plus the tires explode very quickly) so I'm running the motor at only 50%
Did the math and at full throttle at 100% that motor is turning 50,000 rpm!

You can always gear it down to help with the temps.

Yah unfortunately I'm UN able to gear it down enough (not enough room for a bigger then 90t spur). And a 84t is in it now. So I'll probably swap to a 90 then run it at about 75% power

What pinion do you have? Run like a 12t pinion. If you are not already. I run a 5700 and a 7700 kv with no temp problems (2wd)

I do believe 18t but I'm not sure
But I'm also worried about gearing down because I already have absolutely no traction. So gearing would make that so much worse at takeoff

I have a 14pole motor I should let you run in that thing an gear it 25\80 with no problems. It's a monster on 6s. Lighter also than your current motor.
