Panzer? I thought the skid plates were kinda silly until I smashed the oil pan on my Golf. Mind you that was offroad lol

I think Jeep people have a secret affinity for VW's lol i have owned 6 TDI or TDI swapped VW's and really want to TDI swap my XJ.

lol yea i have owned plenty of them, however depending on what VW is going to do to either A)Fix the emissions of my TDI or B) buy it back, i may or may not have this one as long as i would like. Stupid VW and lying about their emissions.

I wouldnt hold my breath that either will happen. Reduction in NOx in a 2010 means either massive derating or an added SCR.

they have already tossed out the idea of a buy back, and if they do come up up with a fix it will be extremely costly to add in a DEF system so i guess it's up to which one will be more cost effective.

Actually, a buy-back makes some sense if they can just refurb and flip the cars in non-EPA markets!

Not a Panzer plate, Evolution Atlas. Saved my oil pan many times. Covered in scrapes.

I can't blame them for fudging their emissions data. The DPF systems have caused many problems in the truck world. The technology is still evolving. Glad my TDI doesn't have that junk on it. Good for repelling tailgaters with a blast of soot.
