Hey guys its been a bit since I've been on here but last week I came across a deal I couldnt pass up and own yet another 4x4. Its an 87 Jimmy with a muncie 4speed and NP205 t-case and a 350 under the hood. has 4inch suspension lift and 3 inch body lift on 36inch swamper radials.

I would try to reduce that amount of BL if at all possible. 3" is usually the borderline of being unsafe.

yeah nice rig..looks like my neighbors...I'd love to have one..His has no body lift but has 4 of suspension lift on it...Rides good and handles well in most situations...

I have an extra 6inch full spring lift sitting in my garage for one of these so I might swap that in and cut a little bit and get some 42's under it or something. I might just sell it too. I dont know yet. It handles great on the road though surprisingly.

Nice...I was worried it was gonna be an S-10/S-15 Blazer/Jimmy there for a second. Unless you like swapping parts, I'd keep away from them.
The fullsizes are sweet though. Nice Rig!

Check the body mounts and the metal around the body mounts. it is known to rust out and pull out the mounts, leaving the cab barely bolted to the frame. My buddy has the same year but it's a chevy blazer. It has a 3" bl too, and 5" suspension lift on 35's. 4 of the rear body mounts have ripped right off the body and frame leaving it un-drivable.
