Welp, broke a tie rod on Tuesday in the middle of a trail. Quite the ordeal. I'll explain more later when I post pictures up, but this one should sum most of it up:

Borrowed a tie rod from Ian, so she's driveable right now, but she'll see no trail action until I can order an SLR steering kit (probably 2 weeks off of trails ). She's got the 31s back on too, just to do a favor to Ian and not stress on his tie rod with those steelies and 33s.

Negative, Ian said he's had larger gaps in his 32s that he drove on for 2 years....so I found that spare we were lookin' for

By the way, this is my insert for the Idiots Guide to: Cars

You'd think something like this would be cool.....like being able to turn both ways at once!

Trust me though, it sucks.

I know they don't look like much more but they're supposed to be head and shoulders above Nissan factory.

But I have heard of people breaking these ones too.....

No thanks, I think in order to wheel an XJ you have to carry one of these in your glove box:

You know why I had one. Im not afraid of taking a hammer to my rig to make room for the tires.

Don't you mean your "wife's eventual rig?" How does Sadie feel about you beating on her Heep?

Oh and a little update: no progress so far! Still has the 31s on. It sucks not being so big, but I must say, she's fast as **** now! It's nice being able to see what that CAI/Cat-back combo can really do without having to push 70lbs on each corner.

So wittle
