Had to Use the Jeep.
A few months ago we bought a whole new big screen TV and surround sound with Blu-Ray. We bought the maintenance package too, which includes the calibration. The TV has over 150 hours so they came to do the celebration.
It is doing something real unusual for this part of the country, it is raining and has been since Thursday. We never get this much rain in a whole year.
Anyway on to the Jeep, The TV guy finished his calibration and was backing out of my drive which has a 90 degree turn. He decided to use that area to turn around and backed off the packed driveway and promptly buried his truck up to the frame. Then he calls me on the phone that he is stuck can I come pull him out with the winch. I find my poncho and head down the drive way and find that he is pretty deep but decide that he has no real good tow point so I hook a chain to his front cross member and a tow strap to the front of the Jeep. Put the Jeep in part time and back him right out like he was a feather. Easiest pull I ever made and didn't even have to use the winch. First stuck vehicle that I have had to extract from my own driveway. LOL

He could never carry all the junk that he carries in a Jeep. It was a huge box bodied dual tire rear van.

No but he drove like it. The CALIBRATION was part of the purchase of the service contract. My bad.

He was lucky his customer is wise enough to own a Jeep. If he'd been in the suburbs, he would've had to call in a tow truck and explain the bill to the boss man.

Yeah but the fun was a lot less in the pouring rain. I guess I shouldn't complain since it rarely rains here.
True I think of myself as in the suburbs, but the man knew I had the Jeep b/c he had to walk past it to get in the house to calibrate the TV.
My biggest problem of the day was finding my poncho since I almost never need it in the sunny weather we have.

Yeah, we had a down pour here yesterday. With only having the Cherokee a week or so I have not had the chance to get a B.O.B together for it yet so I was caught without raingear. Upon leaving Target my GF and I were soaked. I didn't even think to buy a couple cheap-o ponchos.
