Right. I wish the Gremlins garage was within walking distance from my apt. An hour+ drive and dealing with the 37 gets old. Especially when you're shelling out $$ because V8. It is what it is. Just take over a small section in your living room and bang on stuff that fits in the door Mr. Pink.

Got some parts in the mail this week. The armrests are frikin nice with the chrome bases. Scored a full heater box setup and a complete wiper sysrem. Seller is building a Wally Booth tribute Hornet. Haggling with him over a few other items to.
Engine is in. Didn't take very many pics. Its just bolted down for now. Need to come up with a better solution to its location and mounts. Motor mounts are offset 2.5 inches and jenky as heck. I know i want it to go down and forward some. Not sure how much yet.
Still working away here and there on the grile. Need to get on it so I can start the interior pieces.

Headlight doors are almost done. Just need to clean up a little bit of paint bleed, clear and sand them. Still fighting with the grille. Can't seem to get it straight enough for black paint. At some point I'm just going to have to take what I got and go with it.

With the low bucket seat the steering colunm/wheel were awkward. I picked up an XJ tilt colunm from the jy last weekend.
Took a little modification but its in and working.
Didnt want to deal with a helper so I used ratchet straps to remove the door.
The old bushings were smoked.
Made up my mind on where the engine needs to be. Workng on buffing up the front crossmember/motor mounts. Still undecided on solid motor mounts or not.

Can't get the link to load Mr. Pink. Can't do a whole lot of anything. My cell phone service provider put a limit on my data for a mobile hotspot. Everything is SO SLOOoooW right now. Unlimited data is apparently only for the phone. Got updates and what not but I can't upload. Looking into a WiFi service provider early next year.

Not
Not alot going on with the Gremlin. Mostly working on the Jeep. I have the roll bar, fuel tank sump, motor mounts, and trans cross member on standby. I took my welder home because the garage gets to moist and I needed to repair a poolgate. I'm probably going to pay to have the roll bar burned in. Idk yet. Got alot of little things done on the wiring harness and interior plastics. The Jeep is almost road ready. Just need to finish reaming out the knuckles. I'm extending my shop at work and everything is in shambles. Not sure what the knuckles got buried under but there there somewhere.

I picked these three fronts from Craigslist for $50. Two tires are matching and in great shape. They fit the car alot nicer then the others.
Got these knock offs for $70. Impulse buy. Probably going to resell.
Safety first
Got the tank out to get it ready for the sump. Been sitting on my patio full of water. Need to get on that.
Playing around with a homemade press brake.
I sealed the inside with an epoxy paint. Moisture.... Waited for over a month then one Saturday the weather cooperated and I was able to spray it out.
Patience..... This has frustrated me to the point that I almost smashed it... More then once....
Heater box is ready.
Base gaskets were leaking. So I put a big bore kit on him and paid a shop to have the heads reworked.
I have cable and internet now. I took two weeks off and needed something to keep me sane. I've learned that when I retire it's very possible that I will become a raging alcoholic. Not having anywhere to be, responsibilities or deadlines.... and no nag in the background!!!!!
I do miss the company that my dog provided though. To soon to get another. My shop extension is almost done. Can't wait for that to end. It's been a nightmare trying to work with everything misplaced.
