I've never really cared much for edelbrocks. I prefer a quadrajet over anything but a Holly is never a bad choice.

I got an old Holly I had on a 390 laying around. If I remember correctly it's a 3310 or maybe an 1850. I have no use for it. Pay for the shipping and it's yours.

Not this weekend but next I can. It's in the garage that the Gremlin is at and I have to go shopping for a new living room set this weekend. There is a small possibility that I might get an itch on Sunday to go there and start putting the motor back together. Either way I will get you a price. You would think that it wouldn't cost more then $20 maybe $25 though. Just so there is no surprises I can get you some pics and it's been sitting for about a decade. Ran great when pulled but you should do a rebuild.

For an off the shelf do everything OK carb Q-jets rock. Holleys are fine if you like playing with it every time the freakin wind changes direction.

I've ran Quadrajets most of my life. Dam good carb. I keep a rebuilt spare in the trunk of the caddy and a box of jets and metering rods. Don't ever really need it but that car can go from DD to sitting indefinitely.

Bubba, that sounds fine, im in no hurry. the truck will be going into winter storage here in a few weeks, since it got really cold and wet really quick.

Got the bottom half of the engine almost put back together. Just need to rent a harmonic balancer install tool. Not ready to get it back in yet. Thinking about cutting up the firewall, engine cross member and moving the engine around a little bit.

Started to clean up the interior. Removing all the rubber coating, useless sheet metal tabs and stuff.

Got the new steering wheel in. Went with a theft device in case I have to carport it. My insurance company put one in my Nova right after Grant came out with them. Thinking about putting on on my XJ.

Found this when I was finishing up. More work....

Nice, i had one of their security systems on my Chevelle and my S10 when i lived in San Diego, granted we were on the Naval base but still. Insurance wanted to make sure neither could be stolen.

When you get your install kit look it over. Mine came with untapped holes. Luckily I had the tap on hand.
