Before I could actually practice on the road I learned in a 1992 Ford Ranger, also learned how to drive a manual transmission on that truck....was rusted and beat but that little truck was amazing. Hauled everything you threw in the bed to! When I got to actually drive on the road, my first Cherokee, 99 XJ.

My dads 3/4 ton GMC pickup with a POS TBI 350. Turning radius of a ship, no power (think same HP and torque as an XJ, but 2000lbs heavier) but I scared the crap out of him when I hit it too hard and drifted it on a gravel road. Also my moms turbo Subaru forester which even if I downshift and build boost it still has no *****. Its also harder to steer than my friend's MR2 which has no power steering.
I hate my parents' DD vehicles.

Got the main idea down in a backhoe when I was 7. Thanked Grandpa for showing me by steeling his Chev 1500 P.O.S. when I was 8. Got it stuck when I was 10 and Grandma still doesn't know.
