I had the 2 wheel drive Concord with the 4.2 I6 back in high school. It was not very good off road.

Really enjoyed the Eagles. Nice story, however he forgot to mention another great selling point in the 80's, the galvanized body. I miss my Eagle wagon....

The rustproofing was good on these for the time, I think from '83-on they even came with factory Ziebart. Decades of winter use still takes them down in the end, though.

I'm enjoying my XJ a lot but do miss my Eagle wagon as well.
