I cannot find where I connect a code reader to the subject Cherokee. Does anyone know where it is?

You won't find one.

Renix Cherokees don't have anywhere a trouble code reader could attach to. And they don't store any kind of trouble codes. Also they have no check engine light.

There was an engine monitor that Chrysler and Snap-On offered, but they were never very common and become more rare every year.

I see the test box on E-bay... but it doesn't have the cartridges with it....

I sent an email to all listed asking about the cartridges. I am hoping that the one for $80 has everything included with the box and the seller just didn't know what they were selling. I'm going to try Craig's List next. I live in Washington and it seems as though Cherokee's are everywhere out here. Somebody has to have one stashed someplace.

Thanks for pointing that out though

Here is the Snap-On part number:

SNAP-ON MT2500 MTG2500 SCANNER JEEP-1 ADAPTER MT2500-49 with the Snap On MT2500 Scanner 2000 Domestic Troubleshooter Cartridge

There is one with all jeep cartridges, adapters, keys and scanner on ebay with current bid of $177
