unknown warning light
Hi everyone, I just bought a Grand Cherokee '96 a few weeks ago and a warning light is coming on after about 20 miles of a journey. It is situated to the right of my transmission indicator in front of the gear stick. It's an orange rectangle, with a neck at the top right hand side. It is half filled with orange, and in the bottom half there is an 'x'. I thought it may be my coolant so i topped it up. I also sharged the battery (incase that was it) but it still comes on. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance, the new boy!

That's your coolant Bud!
Try to bleed/"burp" your coolant system, you probably have some air in there so when you "think" it's full, it's really not. After you get all the air out check for leaks. Pressure test the system, you can even do it before you bleed or "burp" but it'll work better if you get all the air out first.
