2008 Grand Cherokee with REQ radio with Sirius enabled. Ordered Uconnect module from the Internet (82211877_82211005_ Chrysler Dodge Jeep UConnect Kit) and installed it. Dealer enabled Uconnect and it works, but there is one quirk...

Sometimes, after a call, when returning to the SAT radio, the volume is muted and you cannot adjust it using the **** or steering wheel controls. This doesn't happen after every call, but has happened to me a few times and the dealer is unable to replicate it. I have found a work-around by pressing "Voice Recognition" and saying "volume". For some reason this restores the volume and controls.

Additionally, the Voice Recognition will not change to SAT radio from any other band when saying "SAT" or "SATELLITE RADIO". It's almost like the uconnect doesn't realize there is a satellite radio installed. This may be causing the issue above with the volume, not sure?

Has anyone else experienced this after having uconnect enabled?
