Turn Signal Help?
Ok here's the deal.
I don't have an owners manual so I'm having trouble finding the right fuses/relays to help me on this problem.
Problem
-Turn Signals Do not work under turning.
-Instrument panel does not display turn signals.
-Turn Signals DO WORK under the HAZARD button.
-Instument panel signals work under the HAZARD button.
Checked
-Because the signals work under hazards, we know the bulbs are good.
-Because the bulbs work, we know that the ground is good.
-I've checked several fuses based on different models i've found online. fuses include -#10red, and all the 20 amp fuses in the kickpanel passengerside.
-I've yet to check Electronic Flasher Relay, because I do not know which relay this is. I do not have the owner's manual.
-I also doubt that it is the turn signal switch, because the highbeams still work.
Let me know your opinion. I'm about to hang myself.

I would have to say it sounds like the flasher relay. If you look at your fuse panel, there will be 2 round relays. 1 is for your hazards the other is for the turn signals..

I believe the 99 has both relays built into one. I Found the hazard relay, and wiggled it around, tried my turn signals and they work..
I wrapped electrical tape around it and hopefully that will be the fix. unless there's a ground wire somewhere that's loose, we'll find out sooner or later. thanks!

Turn Signals
There is a universal switch located on the steering column
that has all the switches that operate your flashers. I pulled mine and found that is was very dirty/corroded. cleaned everything up and reinstalled it and all my flasher functions work great now.
A new universal switch is about $80.00.

Hi, I need to replace the entire Turn Signal Switch/Lever assembly of my 89 Jeep Cherokee Laredo, problem is I don't know how to pull it down. Do I need a special tooling to pull it off? Please help meeee.. Thanks
