Help with electrical problems
So I bought a JVC stereo at Best Buy for about 50 dollars to replace the stereo that comes with my Jeep ( 1999 Cheroke Sport ). I took the old one out, while my door was open, so the lights on the inside were still on, I connect the new stereo to the Jeep ( with the battery of the car still plugged in, stupid right? ) and then suddently the inside lights of the car went off.. I tried turning my car on and the new radio did NOT work and suddenly i realize my dashboard lights are working but the guages themself are not working.. I have no clue what I did or what I need to check. I have checked all the fuses relating to "Radio" and "Courtesy Lights" but nothing seems to work.. Even with new fuses.. Can anyone help me out?! Thanks! Jeff
