Default Mysterious cable inside '98 ZJ

Hi all,

I recently discovered a mysterious cable coming out of the firewall of my '98 ZJ Laredo. When I found it it was simply wrapped up, and tucked away up above the electrical distribution thing(Not exactly sure what the technical term is). It looks very similar to an AC adaptor plug, which is what sparked my initial curiosity.

Please excuse the messiness, it's been quite rainy up here, and I haven't had a chance to clean up the Jeep before taking pictures.

Kinda looks like a radio antenna but the pic looks kinda blurry where it counts. I'd say def. not stock also tho.
