to much body roll help please

Default to much body roll help please

I have a 2008 jeep grand Cherokee all wheel drive model and I replaced the shocks and struts about 3 months ago and now when taking corners the body is rolling to much that one tire lifts off the ground and the whole system is getting squirrelly does anyone know how to fix this issue before I end up killing the jeep

To slow down... these aren't short small vehicles. Check your anti sway bars and make sure they are in good shape and that the bushings aren't bad.

When I bought it with 95,000 it would hug any corner I put it in at any speed the the shocks and struts went out so I replaced them and if I go any slower in the corners now a turtle could pass me

The bushings are good I've been all over this thing checking every bushing,sway bar ,4 link and coil over and everything is ok

Stop driving it like its a race car. I can take hard corners at like 30 and not lift a tire, with our without my swaybar connected. I have lifted a tire once, and it was sliding a corner then I all of a sudden got grip. when you replaced them did you replace them with Jeep parts or some Autozone crap?

Did you add any weight to it with bumpers, roof rack, lights, etc? That would certainly cause more roll. You can address that with stiffer swaybars or springs.

There IS one thing you can check. I don't believe the swap bars are solid anymore but are hollow. A torsional crack in the bar can be unnoticeable and relieve it's tension on cornering. Look for a spiral crack somewhere in the section between the frame brackets. For replacements look to Addco. They make good solid replacements. Then you can corner until the tires lose their seal, or you break a connecter link.

if u didn't read previous comments if I go any slower a turtle will pass me and it's still lifting a tire

This thing is stock oem all the way around with replacement parts to at this point I'm thinking about selling it for what I owe on it and just going and getting something different

i had a friend '' help'' me on my front bar.he had it way to loose.got torque specs tightend to that.really made it better

Addco has been in business a LONG time. I used to throw my '67 Camaro SS around pylons a lot and I had trouble staying glued to the pavement. The Camaro didn't have a rear bar, but it had a 7/8" front bar. Addco sold me their proven set-up for the Camaro. It was a 1-1/8" front bar and a 7/8" rear bar. I could power drift that thing and the body stayed flat and solid! The only other suspension mods I had were a 3 leaf rear spring set-up for the Dana Performance 396 and Koni shocks. Oh, and radial tires. Something new in the US at that time.

BUT, I kept breaking connecter links in the rear.

I went through quadratec.com after I found spiral cracks coils on both front struts and the passenger rear coil was broke and stress cracks on rear driver and stock rear sway is only 1/2 in. thick and it's got spiral twisting so the new coils spring set is front and rear heavy duty 3/4 thick rated at 750lbs. Per spring for $299.99 and rear sway is a heavy duty 1 1/4 thick and new links 3/4 thick with bolt through instead of swivel end and bolt through for 169.99

Can you clean up that grammar? I'm having trouble understanding what you're saying, but I think you may have grossly overpaid. If you haven't ordered yet, take a look at Amazon and Rockauto. You can get two heavy duty rear leaf springs for about $160. Front springs should be less than $70 a pair. Both prices include shipping.
