Loud Clicking & Grinding
I have a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherookee Limited 4wd V8. when I accerate in my vehicle, it sounds fine. As soon as I hit about 25 mph or I start to slow down, my jeep has very loud clinking (like metal hitting eachother) and a loud grinding noise on the front drivers side. I have changed the wheel barring & I got an alignment. That didnt seem to help much. I also changed the Cv Axle on that side. Before i changed the cv axle, when i got to a faster mph the sounds and grinding came to a minimal. Now that I have changed the Cv Axle, I can barely make it up to 25mph and then the sounds get really bad. When attempting to stop it kind of sounds like a car thats about to die backfiring.
Has anybody had this simiar situation before? Please help!!!
