Default Need some heat

Owner of a Grand Cherokee limited, 2000 reg, 4 ltr for ....well almost 11 days now, and lovin it .

The only problem I have found is that the heater for the interior is just not heating up. , I am sure it was working fine on the trip home from the seller. Is there anything I need to check ?

Pull the heater core hoses and flush the core, could be clogged.

Sounds like a blend door failure. Especially being a Limited. Do you have digital zone controls?

Could be the heater core is partially/plugged. If it is, the vehicle will operate normally, but your heat will be weak or non existent. This requires a heater core flush and back flush. Do some checking to make sure this is the problem. When nice and cool open up the radiator and see what the fluid looks like. Also, there is a good chance that a lot of the components could be original equipment. Things like the coil packs and o2 sensors can cause adverse effects on the mpgs. These do not effect your heat, but may be something to look at.
