Grand Chrokee 96' 5.2 start issues

Just a note, it is important that the pump pickup, the top of the pump (ring), the lock ring, and the top of the tank opening go back in the exact orientation (same way) that they came out. I mark my parts with a sharpie, fingernail polish, or I the mark metal parts with the tip of a file. Always be careful working around fuel or fumes, and take care not to damage the fuel sending unit if it is involved. Your Welcome, good luck.

Old fart with a wrench
There you go! 94,95, and 96 were bastard years with many changes. It's hard to keep up.

Hello again.
Just an Update.
I was about to drop the tank, but, i had the ich to have another look to the PDC, so I did.
On fuse F18, im no getting any juice, and 168 resistant, which im not suppose to get. Im trying to to trace that circuit, but i having a hard time finding where it goes.
I could be related to why the fuel pump is acting up.
I just want to makesure, berofe i drop the tank, is not something else.
No getting any power to this particular fuse, it makes me wonder.
If someone knows and could help me to trace this wire. Thank you

Another update.
OK, like i mentioned before i was no getting any power on fuse f18 on PDC.
Bu t a realize that i had have to have the PCM fully connected, which i didn't.
Any how, after finding out that, lost of power was no the problem,
I notice a weird clicking and like shorting out noise coming out the PDC.
So, i'd remove the f18 fuse and the weird shorting noise stop.
So now I'm in dilema of finding out why i have short on PDC box.
Will keep you posted.
