Default Front end Wobbling. 1998 Grand Cherokee Limited

I'll get straight to the point, when I make a sharp turn my whole front end 'wobbles'. It is especially bad when making a sharp turn while reversing. This only happens when I turn my tires close to the max they will turn. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the front suspension but don't know what specifically..

Are your front tires wearing even?? My 98 ZJ did was doing the same thing, took it for an alignment, and it was pretty much gone. With bigger tires and turning to the max, most 4x4 will do this a little bit. The only other thing I can think of is you stuck in 4WD???

BTW what size lift and tires do you have? Look pretty good from your Avatar.

My tires are pretty much new so I don't think that's the problem. It's a quadratrac so it's AWD. That eases my worries that most 4x4's do this. I was afraid something in my suspension was messed up.

The tires and lift are in my signature down below

No matter what, you should always check things out, just to be safe/sure. Anyone could tell you many different things, but we are not there to see the actual truck doing what you are describing. I would still have things checked just to be sure. Like I said mine was doing it alot and I needed an alignment. My front end was all adjusted and checked over when the alignment was done.

Okay thanks, I'm thinking about taking it in for one since it's been awhile, plus I've put these new tires on since.

I was driving it just a while ago and the wobble had lessened considerably. I did nothing to try to fix it. It's been on and off for a while

I have the same vehicle and mine been doing that from the time I got it. It has something to do with the AWD. Never been a concern for me. I've gotten a few wheel alignments and it still does the same thing. Changed tires and all front suspension parts and it still does the same thing.
