i have a jeep cherokee 98 and it leaks from the left side if the hood was popped and you were looking at the engine.

only leaks when off and hot. also does not over heat YET i know it will eventually when all coolant leaks out.

already put coolant leak stopper in and flushed before and it stopped for a couple of days.

i am a student w low funds and has great common sense so would like to repair this myself w.o some 100 dollar an hour wannabe mechanic

Looks like it's time for a new radiator. Do the hoses and thermostat while you're at it, and always replace the radiator cap when replacing the radiator.
