the computer (the display that shows and over view of the jeep) on my 93 limited is being dumb, it turns on when it wants too and when it does its completely reset. And it'll show stuff wrong thats not wrong, rear lamp failure, low washer fluid, and the lates check engine oil. I've checked everything they're all working and all fluids are topped off.

Also is how do i set the clock on the radio?
Thanks

The factory radio should have two small dots marked H and M. Use a pin to push the H to set the Hour, and the M to set the minutes.
The other issue I can't help with. PM Willsy55, he may know the answer.

You will have to remove a few things to get access to the wires for the VDC(displays system) Look for broken wires or chaffed wires. Verify that you have power on the orange wire and a good ground. What you are describing is a loss of memory power to the display unit. When you turn the key off it looses power and resets because it needs a constant power source when vehicle is off to keep the memory.

your computer may also be shot. if the wires look all good you may need to go to a junk yard and get a new computer out of the same jeep. you may have gotten water inside it and it is short circiting. it happened to me and i changed out the computer and it works fine now. that or check your battery also because if the ground is not good it will also keep setting up thoes codes. my ground was not tight and my dash would go crazy and pop. it also made all my gages move up and down.

On the Lamp failure..

The ZJ is sensitive to having the correct bulb in each position. Another part# bulb may technically work but will throw the failure on the VIC (same as VDC mentioned by *****) Vehicle Info Center.

One other item usually missed on that lamp failure is all three bulbs working on the third brake light. With one out it'll appear as though they are all working but it'll give the failure.

One of my customers had the failure and it bothered him to no end... i replaced every bulb with correct part #'s and fixed his.
