I found this online and they look like a good deal. It says if will work in 1997 ZJ with the infinity sound system but it says on the page it is 3 ohm and what is the cross over do. Any help would be great.

Thats a nice set of sound makers. The 3ohms is what is going to get you a good power draw off of the amp/deck in your ride. The cross over is what is used to separate the hi and low frequencies sent from your sterio to the speakers. I see in the pic on that link you are getting the woofers and the tweeters The crossover, when hooked up correctly, will send only the higher frequencies to the tweeters and the lower to the woofers. Helps make nice clean sound. As far as them fitting in your ZJ, as long as your going to put them in a place already there with no modification, then any speaker will work as long as you match your power up right. Will you be hooking them up to the stock dash or do you have an after market deck?

stock deck...but if has the infinity amp so i dont know if it will work

There is nothing wrong with the original speakers for the average person. If u want more sound, crutchfield is a good place to look. You may also wanna look on sonic electronix for the same parts, usually a little cheaper.

The rear speakers don't sound good at all.. is the factory amp 2ohm and if so would a 3 ohm speaker work

The factory amp is a 120w 4ohm amp, and the speakers are 4ohm. I was planning on putting new speakers in my GC, these are the ones I'd put in if doing a factory swap. http://www.crutchfield.com/p_130TSA1...ures_and_specs
