Default 99 Grand Cherokee with Trans. sensor...help!

Have a 99 Grand cherokee that i have replaced the trans. speed sensor (4 times) that shifts at the proper speed. last time I replaced it..it looked like it was cracked. I'm thinking something is hitting it but would something be floating around in there causing this? Also, when changing the fluid and filter would I be able to see the area where the sensor is located? Any help would be appreciated!

I am not familiar with the speed sensor location and clearance issue. The only thought I have is to check you engine mounts. If they are failing, you may have some engine-transmission movement causing the speed sensor to contact something.
