Default 97 ZJ cutting out

My wifes '97 ZJ 4.0 Auto has been cutting out for a little while now. At first it seamed like it was only hasitating when making a left turn, but it really never died. I thought it could be the fuel pump. Now I'm thinking it's an electrical issue because it doesn't run rough like it's being starved of fuel, it just cuts out and it's doing it all the time now not just making a left turn. Everything else stays on when the engine dies and it will always start right back up.

It has a new CPS and most of the ignition system is new. I'm starting to think its the ECU. Any thoughts? This thing is driving me crazy!

Check the ASD and Fuel Pump relays. Exchange the two and see if the problem then feels like fuel. The ASD relay controls ignition. It may be going bad. Intermittent problems are difficult to diagnose. It could be the ECU. You may have to wait until it fails totally.

Swaped em...still the same. It seams like it is worse when she's cold but I don't really know anymore.

Bump. + it sounds like a motor boat on cold start up. What could that be?
