I am about to fix a leak from my Intake. What I need to know is what gaskets will I need to replace this and the other part I have to take off. Also is there any special tools.

Just an intake gasket set, the plenum plate gasket, and the water pump bypass hose. You will want a torque wrench when you install the manifold. The spec is 12 foot pounds, or 144 inch pounds. DO NOT OVER TORQUE THE MANIFOLD! Over torquing will lead to cam bearing failure and possibly crack the block. It's not really a tough job, just time consuming.

I was under the impression that I needed to have valve cover gaskets as well.

If they're not leaking you don't have to worry about the valve covers. But it's up to you if you want to do them.

On some engines, the lip of the valve covers hang over the edge of the intake manifold. (I'm thinking Chevy small block) This might interfere with removing the manifold or replacing it without disturbing the new gasket. I guess the Dodge 5.2 isn't like this.

The manifold will come off without disturbing the valve covers.
