2000 Grand Cherokee
Default 4WD indicator lights

Hi,
2000 GC Laredo, selec-trac, 4.0, new to me!
2WD
4WD Part time
4WD Full time
N
4WD Low
I noticed that ONLY the 4WD Part time indicator light shows up in the dash, when in Full time, no light. The manual only shows a part time light.
Is there no 4WD Full time indicator for this model??
Thanks

There is not a full time light... It confused me at first too... I would imagine that since you dont want to run part-time on pavement or othe solid surfaces, the light comes on to serve as a warning...

And welcome

dlundblad,
you are correct, I figured it out, yes you dont want to run part-time on pavement or othe solid surfaces, SO the light comes on to serve as a warning

melloyello,
it's the original NP242
THANKS FOR THE REPLIES,
jEEP oN!
