Default 2007 Chrokee key remote problems

All the sudden we can't do anything with the remote on the key on our 2007 Cherokee. Neither remote will work. Could it be batteries or something else?

I'd try the battery first but u might just need to take it in & have a dealer reprogram it!

Try checking the fuse for it. The one in the Jeep.

I would get them reprogrammed first the dealer shouldn't charge to much and it may even be free. what are the chances of both battery's going out at the same time

The dealer charged me $80 to program mine then found out they do it the same way that I could for free.

Talking

There is no fuse to check for your remote! read the owners manual it should tell you how to program your remotes, they need to be programed at the same time whether you go to the dealer or not ! you could have a issue with your WCM "wireless control module" the only other thing you could do is disconnect the positive "red" cable on the battery under the hood and touch it to the negative cable for 15 seconds then reconnect it like normal.. this resets your computer in the car and all other modules . DON'T take the negative cable off and touch the positive !!!!!! hope that helps how many miles do you have on it?
