Hello! I am new here. I am hoping that someone may help me a bit...
My Jeep is making a weird noise when I give it gas, but goes away when I let off of the gas. It's kind of like a winey/ klinky noise. I have checked my u joints on the driveshaft which was suggested by another person. The driveshaft is solid and stable. Another friend with a jeep just one year older than mine, had the same noise.. They changed their transmission fluid and filter sound went away. One, what could it be, two do I need to change fluid in the transfer case, three, if that is the case how do you do that?? Thanks for any help or suggestions you can give!

Rev the engine in park does it still make the sound or does it only make the sound while driving?

Hi. No it doesn't make the noise when you rev the engine. Just when you are driving.

It doesn't make the noise when you rev it, just when driving. I did notice tonight that I could feel a vibration in the jeep, not as in a steering vibration, but a small vibration in my seat. Any thoughts?
