2002 GC Ltd Blower Motor
The blower stopped workingI removed blower motor unit and check normal operation using direct connection with wires to the battery.
Next ordered resistor/control module & a pigtail. (eBay).
Rewired and installed both units
Still no blower action.
Checked fuses normal and wiring connections again, still no blower.
All lights on AC control panel appear normal.
I could use some help on this, please. Any suggestions? Thanks

Common problem on these - the connection overheats and melts the connector causing bad contact and the resistor unit can also suffer component failure from overheating.
The contacts inside the connector are really not up to the job - poor design.
Your ebay purchased unit could also be faulty.
Check all the connections for signs of heat damage.
You can also take the black plastic cover off the resistor unit to check inside for anything which looks burnt or overheated.

It's possible the switch for the blower on the dash unit is defective; as in burnt contacts on "high". A blower motor that draws too many amps is what causes these parts to melt. The causes of a overdraw are worn or sticky bearings or blade interference. In cases of a direct short, the resistor has a fuse element that pops.
