Default 2000 GCLtd No Heat-No leaks, No codes?

I have a 2000 Grand Limited with Dual Climate Control and No heat. I ran the codes, and got a '0' for response, so I don't think it's the blend doors; no coolant leak anywhere so maybe not the heater core. Any ideas before I rip the whole dash apart.

TIA

You have a vacuum leak somewhere. The vents are vacuum controlled.

I also have the exact same problem as Jonathant25. Any help would be great.

The Blend Doors that adjust the temp are not moving. The default position for the doors is unrestricted cold air flow. When you turn the Temp setting to hot, the blend doors do not move. This is because they are vacuum controlled.

Under the battery tray there is a small vacuum hose connected to the Cruise Control Diaphram that often dry rots on these vehicles. More often than not this is the cause of your problem. It could also be the Blend Door motor went south on you. But, as always, go with the easiest thing first. It is about 3 inches long and a 1/4" in dia.

Good Luck
