How's everyone doing. Im new to here, but was recomended by a friend. I have a 95 grand cherokee and used to have a 2001 TJ. I was checking out my jeep one day and noticed rip in the cv boot. I noticed that later that it had further ripped. I'm gonna replace the axle even though it isnt making any niose, but I would like to put a quick boot on it for the mean time tell I have a moment to pull the axle. I cant find one so does anyone know of a brand axle that would fit on it that isnt for Jeep or is?

Advance has the axle for 49 or 39 dollars. Easier then replacing just the boot.

I was just gonna try and find a split boot for temp and go buy the axle at Napa for $50. I wasnt sure if there was one that was just universal that would work

Just leave it torn then, those split boots dont really work well Y waste the money? Only takes bout a hour to swap the axle out

I went and bought the axle today. I agree with you on the waste of money. Im gonna try and do it next weekend.

I think I might have to remove my speed sensor off of the caliper because it looks like the axle will hit it when I go to remove it

Install complete. I was a little concerned about a little dirt from the axle tube getting on the grease on the spline as a slid it in. It didnt seem to damage the inner seal so all is good. I see no signs of diff fluid leaking.
