Default 1993 Grand Cherokee

just a quick question, i have an old 1990 4runner with a v6, it wont tow my boat so i wanted a jeep with a i6 in it, i got an offer to trade my 1990 4x4 auto 4runner for a 1993 4x4 grand cherokee with a v8, the paints peeling but im sure i can get it painted for about 1500 bucks, but i think this will tow my 22 foot boat that only weighs about 3600lbs, now my question would be, is this a good daily driver, it has about 160000 miles on it and my runner had 229000. i like the look of both the gc and the regular cherokee,.... is or would this make a good daily driver...????

The Grands(ZJ) with the 5.2 have a 5500lbs towing rate you'll be fine. As for gas mileage there is things you can do to help, best thing is to make it breath better...
