ABS Module Power Problems
Dear Friends, In seeking to get my ZJ back on the road - a lot of work has been done fixing the wiring etc. that was done by incompetent alarm specialists well over 10 years ago. I won't bore you with the details but, this is where we are: A new ABS computer has been installed and it continues to throw the same error code 25 - indicating a problem between the power module and the ABS unit.
All wiring has been checked and re-checked. Our belief is that there's something obvious that we are just missing. I turn to this collection of expertise and experience to help me get my ZJ back on the road - so that - I can get back to my humble excursions into the forests of Vermont...Thanks so much for your help :-)T

That sucks. Wiring problems are the worst. My suggestion is start at square one. Clean off the abs sensor at each wheel. Make sure those arnt bad. Then follow each line looking for defects. Unfortunately that is about the only answer. Because you know that the module is good.

Hi Utahmike,
Thanks so much for your response. No arguments - unfortunately we've done it more than once. Frustrating...we feel as if there's something that we're missing, something very obvious that we're just not seeing. Thanks again. Thomas
