Well, I've got this jeep now. Not misfiring anymore. I am having problems with it. Acting like it hits the rev limiter when at wot shifting from 1st to 2nd. The aw4 is acting up a bit. It drops to idle really fast when you take your foot off the gas to coast and somtimes the motor revs up a little bit while cruising like the trans is slipping. Shifts well at part throttle. Runs a little rough at idle and has hard time cold starting too. Most likely because of the 30 lb/hr injectors and no tune.

If you want to go the cheap easy route get a Apexi safc fuel controller . I use it on my turbo jeep Cherokee with 39lb injectors and although it is rich it allows you to tune it very well in my opinion. Or just get the ftc-1 split second unit.

I was planning on the split sec ftc1 but will look at the apexi one. I'm guessing it needs custom wiring. I have an aem wideband on the way. Thanks for the suggestion

No harness, but it's 6 wires ,as easy as wiring in a radio basically, definitely get that wide band on and see where your at in terms of fueling, how much boost?

Right around 8 pounds. Think I saw it creep towards 10 at one point.

Okay, you could be running lean on wide open throttle , unless you have some sort fmu for fuel pressure. My jeep runs the same boost and with bigger injectors I still need to add around 50% more fuel. Super clean by the way.

Thanks, man. Credit goes to op lol. It might be cutting out because of a lean condition. It does it only on 1-2 shift and tach reads over 5k. Can't wait to get the wideband on it to see. Pulls pretty hard as is though. These things love boost. Does apexi not make the safc anymore?

I am not sure if it is still in production any more, but the newest version of the APEXI SAFC is the SAFC NEO, They are still very easy to find on ebay still in the box, but are more money though. But yea its crazy how much of a performance gain there is from just 8lbs of boost! Its a whole different jeep now haha.

Well, it's throwing a P0700 & p1898 code. So i'm thinking it's definitely something with the transmission causing it to hit limiter on the 1-2 shift.
