not really. not too big on no doors. maybe tube doors at some point. That would be it though. I kind of want to make a tube hatch too though. Thought that might be cool
I love the 35's. I think they fit perfect with the 6.5" lift. Ive thought about going down an inch but I think Ill need the room once i get the back to work and actually flex.
so my to do list right now is
remove third leaf from pack
install longer shackle
adjust castor. when driver side front is stuffed the yolk hits the upper arm.
readjust ballistic joints as they are clunking and squeaking a little.
retrim front fenders. tires get into the back of them a little.
install front tow hooks with tie ins
I think thats it for now. oh, and i have to check my shafts again, I have a vibe. never had it before the axle swap. kind of weird. had a loose u-joint that got changed but I still have a vibe. maybe the front doesnt like its new position with the high pinion front

yea, leaf stiffness was evident in these...
^i remember the shackle also hitting the back of the box...i bet if it was relocated it would give ya a few for inches...could keep the rear wheel down, on this type of flex...
the fronts got flex for days tho

yes, your right. I should have specified, the longer shackle will be a boomerang to keep it out of the body.
It seems like it has to be the rear because when I decel its worse. this rear shaft has been through hell and is currently rebuilt using front driveshaft cv parts. everything is tight though. I may just change the 2 cv joints. if nothing then, Im gonna have to buy a new one. Ill just run this as a spare.
At the same time I hate to put all new joints in it to not use it.

did some trimming today. tires were getting into the back of the fender, and the trim job that someone else had done was not very good
cut it by hand with snips. pretty good, gonna clean it up some though still.

got to do some wheeling yesterday. had some fun and really put it to the test.
had to get winched once on a real slick hill. rear diff was up against a rock and front tire was behind a rock on a steep wet dirt hill. got some good pics. not as good as I wanted but we were busy wheeling
I have also decided definitively that I will remove a leaf from the rear pack, add a 1" shackle and lower the front to match. I hope to end up down around 4.5-5" of lift on the 35's
she also got a well deserved bath today.
also, not mine, but one of the water crossings

no thats not mine. just a pic of the water crossing. Thats another member here.
I havent had anyone respond to my thread to trade front springs for shorter ones and Im impatient so I got to work this morning. cut a coil off of the passenger side.
The pass side has always sat lower than the drivers side. Almost an inch as measured today, so I took a coil off the drivers side, measured and took another half coil off. ended up down an inch on the pass side and an inch and a half on the drivers. pinch seam to ground front and rear is 24 inches. drivers side is still 24.5 or so but its close.
Im not going to go crazy until I modify the rear packs and rebush the springs. then if its off Ill trim some more.
So far I like the look a lot better, and its easier to get in and out of lol. gonna have some more trimming to do though

I did not. I diddnt want to run stock shafts locked on 35's. If I get a good deal on shafts I will. But I'll probably just wait till I find a 44 or 60
