Nope. I have not purchased any lights yet. Thanks for the LED recommendation, but those things are expensive and would completely blow my budget! Yes, they look quite bright, but for as much as I plan to be running lights I cannot justify the cost over halogens.

If your worried about spending to much on lights just buy a set of Rigid Dually Spots. Lights are crazy, not to mention how durable they are the customer service is awesome. anything goes out send it in they send you a set no questions asked. Highly recommend it!

Well its made by Aurora,
Check out how they stack up to Rigid.
http://www.kpd4x4.com/aurora-led-4x4...id-industries/
Of course these Aurora bars cost more than 425-450..but if you work at the shop that sells them, then you get the discount. Older brother works in a shop, and he got his at 425 I believe.
If he can get more, you pay for it plus shipping and its yours. Not extra cost. I think he payed 425, or 450. Either way

And check out Aurora's flash lights.

Good GOD! I will be getting one very very soon to take my Mag lights place! No way to beat that output...its like holding a freaking fog light in your hand! Great Reviews on the Aurora bars from all the prerunner guys..they aren't cheap by any means, but being as I have an inside man I'll be getting my for 425

How do your BFG KM2 work in the snow and ice on regular paved roads?

They do really well on snow. The only time I've put my chains on is when wheeling trails with ~2ft of snow. Paved road driving I haven't had any issues. I've only encountered some sliding once and that was going down a hill without 4WD. As for ice, well, putting some chains on and there's no problem otherwise letting off the gas while going over ice patches keeps the Jeep straight. There really aren't any tires that will give you full traction on ice.

The KM2s are considered mud tires correct not not all terrains? One of my buddies runs them in 33s on his cherokee they work good. I suppose if I were to get them would be as a second set of tires for wheelin then stick with my high country at's for winter, as they were incredible!

Yep! The KM2 is a mud-terrain tire which also works really well in the snow.

You have brought inspiration to me because of your awesome jeep and once my jeep is repaired (rust) and I can start it again (96 Cherokee to neon injectors and 99 manifold also at the same time chance down a sensor that won't allow it to turn over) then I will turn my jeep into something like yours not taking your ideas either haha

Really enjoy this thread, I'll stay tuned!

Thanks! I'm not going for the ridiculously large vehicle that can go over any size rock without difficulty. It's a functional vehicle - more than a toy. I think the only mod for the exterior will be the addition of lights. Not sure when those will be purchased yet - maybe later this summer/fall or next year. A couple mods before then are coming though.
