The window was open. Undoubtedly she thought her head weighed more than it does, because she made no effort to even come close to it. lol

Next time, she stays at the bar, or I am not DDing. I've puked in a car one time, and I learned my lesson from it, plus cleaned it up myself. She, on the other hand, has not. She actually snickers about it, which drives me nuts. There is a very upscale country club in Raleigh that has probably banned her for life, too.

Anyway, this thread is way ! I will post a few pics later, even though I havent really done much to my XJ besides a little interior cleaning.

I ordered the Putco H4 harness and a new H4 light kit after driving in a bad rainstorm at night not being able to see 10 feet in front of the vehicle. I will install it on Valentines Day.

No pics of the install, but let me tell you there is a freaking huge difference in light output. I highly recommend at least upgrading the harness, and the H4 bulbs will help even more so. My father is going to upgrade his '96 as well.

Since the factory paint was shot and I was in the Army for nine years, I decided to go with a spray bomb in OD green. I still need to touch it up and get the overspray off. You can see the new headlights (which I love) in one of the pics. I've been busy with work and honey do lists lately, so the Jeep has been pushed to the back burner for now, except for general maintenance.

Seriously bad ***. It looks ready to take a beating. Speaking of lights, I have some fog lights I'm going to ask for help installing.

You couldn't have taken the time to tape anything off?

I'd be embarrassed to post pictures of that paint job.

It looked 1000x better before you splurged on spray paint.

Honestly low range your opinion doesn't matter to me. I did say I wasn't finished with it.

How much paint did it take to do that? I'm buying a few cans at a time and other supplies before I do mine. Also need better weather, still snowing in March :/

Four cans. Less than twenty bucks.

You may want to tape it off so low range doesn't rag on your unfinished paint work though, since his opinion is so highly sought out. I post here so I can document my build, not for the approval of members anyway.
