Raptor lined the sides and wheel wells today. I will put another coat on after the top gets painted.

your Jeep looks good, i need to do the cut and fold on my quarters since they are starting to rust under the plastic bumper caps.

Im chopping the top and removing the rear seats. I will then weld the rear doors to the body and fill the gaps to the rear doors, and fab up a rear 'cab' shell, to make it more of a pick up.This will be a few months down the road, and I will need another vehicle to DD while this is accomplished.
Please ignore my MS Paint lack of skills...but this is what I am shooting for.

Why not trade it for a commanche? You could have exactly that..alot easier. I vote on chopping the top and keeping the 4 doors. Also. You will have to cage it if you cut the roof out like your wanting. The unibody will start to fold ALOT faster with no cage.

I would implement a roll bar into the bed that attaches to the frame, along with inside of the cab.
I very much want an MJ, but everyone around here wants way too much for them when they pop up for sale. I would gladly trade for one, as long as it was a 4x4, 4.0, auto(Im through with changing gears, unless I get a V8 sports car), and a short bed.
Also, I would like to build something different myself that makes people think just a little bit.

Thats right. I havent seen a 4 door converted like I want to do. I am not saying it hasnt been done, but it would be a pretty rare vehicle, more so than a 4 door chop like your pic. Plus, my way would make it look like a semi-normal truck. I am not a fan of how the 4 door looks once chopped in the 'traditional' sense.
