Sitting at Big Brand Tire right now waiting to get a long over due wheel alignment, they are also adjusting my track brack because I am to lazy/buisy to do it my self. I had a little death wobble before and after the lift, we will see if they find any messed up ball joints when they do the alignment check.

Love the OME leaf packs (OME HD leap pack + OME multirate add a leaf) they are a little more firm than I expected but they ride crazy good. Very smooth over bumps, on road ride is controlled an smooth and they handle great in corners. I think a big portion of the ride quality comes from the pairing of OME springs and OME shocks.

I'd pick up the sliders before you lock it. My open diffs have mad it a lot of places when choosing the right lines, plus its always nice to have the added protection incase you get somewhere you shouldn't be.

Have you looked into doing a "hack-n-tap" using a yoke and the front drive shaft from a 4WD 4.0L Cherokee? I used a yoke from Driveline of Fresno and a '99 XJ Cherokee sport front drive shaft. Works greats, no vibes what so ever. I can get you a part number if your interested.

The part bumper is 3103-27CV, from Driveline of Fresno. I followed this guys writeup on how to do it http://jeep-xj.info/HowtoSYEconversion.htm You will need to trim about an inch off the yoke after you order it but that was quick and easy.

Check Engine Light (P1494)
The infamous Check Engine Light came on, error code P1494. I did a search and found out the most common cause was a disconnected vacuum hose elbow on the intake manifold. The vacuum elbow was severely dry rotted so I replaced it, and disconnected the battery to clear to code, we will see if it works. Will post pics shortly.

Wheelin at Last Chance Canyon
I finally got a chance to test out the OME lift on a legitimate trail, Last Chance Canyon just north of the town of Mojave, CA. I aired down to around 20 PSI, disconnected the JKS sway bark link (worked great) and hit the trails. The new lift set up flexed great over rough terrain and socked up the bumps when doing 40MPH on the "smooth" trails.

I've been talking with Dirk at DPG and was thinking about the same lift. What size wheels and backspacing are you running. When were you rubbing, flexing or all the time? Thanks
