I finally had the jeep registered and tagged. Then I sent it to inspection. And good news, it passed!
Today is the 9th day I has been driving it since inspection. This jeep drives like a dream! And best part about it is ice cold AC!

I noticed that occasionally it have hard time starting. I'm not sure if the crank sensor is on it's way out?

Yesterday I saw that the rear leaf springs are sagging real bad.

Last Saturday I saw a pair of new-ish leaf packs on a cherokee and I knew I had to grab them. 50 bucks later, they were in my jeep.

One day I ll swap them out. Hopefully that should bring the rear up back to original height.

With the engine work done, it's time to start fixing up the exterior and the interior.

And I'm not sure if I should do full interior LEDs upgrade or not.

Ok guys what's your opinion on this.

I got a pair of aftermarket rectangle lights off my old jeep, and I was thinking of mounting it on the bumper like the old style XJ's. Would it look too tacky if I did that, since it's a 01

Here's an example

I plan to make it look stock, and wire it to a stock fog light switch.

No heat soak at all and no leaks either. I'm gonna check the connections on the starter

So it suddenly started misfiring the other day. Codes came up... Cylinders 3 & 4 misfiring, ignition coil circuit confirmed, and multiple cylinder misfiring.

I knew I had a bad coil pack on, so I decided to swap it out with a good one that I had sitting on the shelf.

So far still running good.

Sell ? Why sell a 01 with a head swap already done ? Park it in a corner and act like its not there .haha youll wish you did one day.

I took on this project because I needed money to fund the axle swap haha. And I usually get bored with stock vehicles. I want to get a xj with ax15 next

Plus doing head swaps is pretty easy, I could find another 00-01 xj next and do it all over again to make money
