Alright update time. Yesterday after work I stuffed the 95 aw4 I had laying around in. Got lucky that I had a 231 behind the ax15 So it was 23 spline. Hit up the junk yard to find the missing bits for the auto conversion and the injectors I still owe gee..... well strike out on the injectors. Seems everyone in the nw has taken all the 703s in the junk yards. But I did score: auto tb with kick down bracket "renix", kick down cable, dip stick and tube, nss, flex plate bolts, inspection cover and bolts.
Also while I was there I found a fresh 2000 xj so I snagged: master cylinder, mirrors, roof speaker covers, rear dome light, and auto shifter cover. All for the sweet price of $60.
So came home bolted all the necessary crap on to make it go vroom....... turned the key and he roared to life! The sarge is alive again!

THE SARGE! The build of a stronger soldier
Well here is the update y'all forgot you where waiting for......
Parts are coming together for the sarge.
Time is becoming available to me.
Today I paid for the front d60.
Picked up a decent set of 17x10 wheels.
And picked out a used set of 40/14.50/17 tires on cl.
So you can say it's getting pretty serious.
Also over the last few months I have acquired a complete conversion to convert it to 97+ xj. Doors, full interior, harness, etc.
Only part that won't be 97+ will be the hatch.
