Default Ruby's gets dressed up for Christmas

Hello and thanks for stopping by. 2 years ago I purchased my daughter her second Cherokee and decided it was time for one of my own. That being said I am proud to introduce to the forum Ruby. She is a 1992 Laredo with 130,000 miles

A month before picking her up I began purchasing parts and accessories with the intent of buying everything first and installing it all at once. This week the build began
The first item installed was the gas door cover purchased by a vendor on CF.

Then wheels and tires

Dick Cepeck rims - purchased a gift certificate from the "for sale" section of CF

Goodyear Wrangler tires 235x75x15 Walmart has them for $79 but will not install them on custom rims. Purchased the tires and drove to Sears for them to install

3 1/2" Rough Country lift - purchased from the "for sale" section of CF

Front, rear and swing arm carrier will be installed today. Purchased them on eBay by KARNAGE OFF ROAD AND METAL FAB. I could not of been happier with them and the process he went through to build exactly what I wanted. Not only were they made 100% custom at an extremely reasonable cost he sent me frequent updates on the build process and shipping. Absolutely the best customer service I've ever experienced. Bar none

Front bumper - The built in lights are set at an angle on purpose. Two lights will be installed ontop of the loop

Rear bumper - This is the only photo for now. Will update with a better one this evening

The rear bumper and swing arm tire carrier are installed. The tire carrier has room for two Jerry cans, a 35" rear tire, hi-lift jack, and a spot for the license plate. After the spare tire is mounted it will block the third brake light. Any suggestions on how to rectify this?

Stay tuned for the front bumper install and rear tail light body armour.

Front bumper installed. In a future update the lights shown installed on the bumper will be mounted on the rear of the roof rack and 1 pair of Hella lights installed on the bumper and another pair installed on the A pillar or top of the roof rack. Any thoughts or suggestions on where to mount them?

Daniel is the owner of KARNAGE OFF ROAD AND METAL FAB and sells his product on eBay under karnagemetalfab. I contacted him and immediately knew that I was dealing with a craftsman and not someone just in it for the money. He shows pride in his work and companies can learn a great deal from the customer service provided by his business. We exchanged numerous emails and phone calls before he started the build and even called me after the bumpers shipped just to make sure I was happy with the final product. Feel free to PM me and I will forward his number and contact information.

The front bumper is my favorite part of the Jeep. Really sets it apart from other Jeeps on the road

Default Poser pic of the hi-lift jack and jerry cans

Didn't have time to mount the Jerry cans or the hi-lift jack. That may be one of next weeks projects

and that tire sits really low on the carrier. I have a buddy who has a C4x4 tire carrier thats the same way and that thing is always dragging on everything while wheeling.

I agree on cutting the fenders and will have it done at the same time she gets repainted. As far as paint colors, the primary color will be red and with blue accents. After she is painted the bumpers will match the rest of her.
