Well its been a few weeks since my last update. I got my heep washed, polished and detailed. Turned my heep into a shiny JEEP!
Also cleaned out my cargo area since I still had all my tools in there from the last job site I was able to work at.
Also I replaced my Electric radiator cooling fan with one from a taurus since the last XJ in the junk yard already had it removed.... the new E-fan shroud was hitting the mechanical fan and stopped it from spinning. It caused the motor to over heat. I moved the e-fan over a few inches with zip ties. Also had to refill the radiator since the fluid boiled over... the fluid also shorted out the e-fan I had just put in there.
But the cooling system is working correctly for the time being. Now I'm just looking for a replacement XJ E-fan

Well time for an update. I entered my XJ into a annual Car Show. Ended up being one of only two Jeeps there and won an Award for Excellence.
Here are the pictures from the show...
I also entered into a raffle and won a detailing kit.
So I left with a glass award, detailing kit, nasty sunburn, and some ideas for the next show I enter in on the 28th.

No, I don't lick fish.
So where ya gonna put the new CB at now that you have the ZJ console? I just relo'd my CB up there myself (haven't posted the update in my thread yet) but also considering the ZJ console myself... I'm kind of a stowage *****.

Actually when I got the console I decided to put it on the passenger side of the shifter console. But since then I ended up with an awesome find at the salvage yard. I found a 2000 XJ Classic that had an overhead console. Pulled that and the wire harness for it for $20.00 .I have since installed that and plugged it in. Just need to reset the built in odometer, clock, and get the outdoor temp system setup.

Welp looks like I need a replacement master control switch panel for the drivers door. I puled mine since it wasn't working. Pulled it apart to find out that the switches are actually burnt. hoping to find a master control in the salvage yard.

Haven't a clue where its going. The heads not cracked... there is no coolant in the oil or vise versa. And reading the trouble shooting instructions on my AUX cooling fan I found out that the fan is set to turn on at 160* by the factory.
I really need to figure out which wire is the power for my A/C clutch. If I can figure that out I can get it turned on with the A/C then.
What I think might be happening though is that the temp is getting hot enough to evap the coolant from the over flow tank.
I also need to find some ideas of how to wire the AUX e-fan to the battery and a switch to turn it on.
