Well I got the 31/10.50 R 15 tire this morning. It will get me by for a couple of months after I get it mounted and balanced. I'm also now talking with a guy about another used tire but not a 2 hour drive to get there.

Wanted to thank thatXJguy for some extra parts that he gave me. I got the ZJ fan clutch and the modified fan shroud installed the other weekend. And I added the alternator to my trail gear as a spare in case I fry my current one like I did the last time.

Yes I can, much louder than the stock setup. Took a good amount of work with a pry bar and a hammer to get it to go in past the pulley bolts.

Well I've realized that I'm now in the market for a pair of hood louvers. I also need to re-wire my aux electric engine cooling fan so that it will work without blowing out another switch. The original fan control module that I purchased with the fan has corroded inside and out causing the module to short out in turn taking out the rocker switch I installed to run it.

Well looks as if I'm going to be making a deal with the Devel on Monday. I'm in dire need of new front tires but am unable to afford the cost straight up at this time.... So I started the approval process with Rent-A-Wheel to get some 31/10.50/15 A/T tires....
I'm pre-Approved for $2,500.00 worth of tires.

Oh man.... don't do that. Go to a tire store and get a set or pair of used tires to get you by. By the time you finish paying for rent n rolls stuff, you'll have paid 2 to 3 times over the cost of if you would have paid cash for them!!!

I'm paying them in the 90 days same as cash period. So it will only be the same price as if I bought them at a tire store... but in a pay period I can afford right now.

Well I now remember why my doctor gave me high strength pain meds in April after my accident... my back is killing me and my arthritic joints are inflamed.

Ah yes... that's your annoying friend for life now.

It'll stick closer than a brother too.

I've been dealing with it now for over 5 years at this point but the lower back pain has only been since the car accident... the herniated disc still has not healed yet.

Sometimes I really HATE people! I talked with a friend on Wednesday night and he and one of his friends were going to trade the rims from his friends XJ with mine before it went to the salvage yard.... and Between than and this morning the XJ traded hands before we could do the trade. We had originally planned on swapping wheels this afternoon.
I spoke with the new owner of the XJ and he was going to message me when he got out of work to still possibly trade them... but now he won't answer my messages!

Well the tire and rim trade was called off. the NEw owner of the XJ doesn't want to do it. So I'm back to square one.

So it looks like I will need to have a tire I purchased used with about 50 ish % tread life and a retread mounted and rotated to the rear. unless I can find 2 more decent tread 31/10.50/15 tires local

Well where should I start since my last update.
I have a rear main seal leak. I had horrible death wobble last Wednesday going 75 MPH down the Interstate.
I figured out that a bad track bar was to blame.
I also now desperately need to replace my front tires. And by a shear miracle I friend happened to have two A/T tires in my size that are brand new. Just need to get them mounted.
I'm hoping that replacing the tires will fix the vibration I'm getting.
