Yeah my buddy has some he said should bolt right up with some minor drilling. I just want to find matching fronts. But before that I want to completely seal the floor up from fire wall back and that's an even bigger task...

New smittybilt X2O 10,000lb. Already used it once, not for me but for someone in the ditch when I was working. Also bought evergthing to upgrade all of my major wiring and make a removable hood. Just need a day that is above zero.

Finally have an update after a couple of months. Blew a winch solenoid a long pull and had to install a new one. Relocated my batteries to the passenger compartment. Pictures to come. Started to delete wiring that I dont need. Things like the battery temp sensor and abs harness. Built a relay and fuse box to go with the switch panel. Definitely something I never want to wire again...

Picked up a set of Thule load bars and towers. Hopefully a MOAB basket next week. Pulled my AC and a lot of electrical components I wasn't using. Still trying to find a clean way to mount the new electrical box.

Steering pump problems
On the way back from a contract today, all of a sudden, I notice smoke pushing up from under the hood, steering pops and power steering goes out.... pull over with extinguisher ready and pop the hood. Look inside to find the power steering pumps shaft and pulley had broken free and now jammed themselves into the electric fan. Call one of my coworkers at the job for a tow to the nearest O'reilly's. Spent the next 4 hours pulling the old pump, pulley, and hoses out and replacing. Didn't help that the only HP hose around me was 5 blocks away. Got it all cleaned up and back together. Steers like a champ now!! Pictures to come.

Looks like I bit off a lot more than I could chew... Went to fix a 12"x12" spot of rust in the front floor area and pulled the carpet back to where I had previously pulled the carpet. Found a lot more rust than one would like to see...

Fixed the rust on the passenger side. Pictures when it's all coated and bed lined. My welds are ugly..... Welder isn't feeding wire equally. Almost sliced my tire while going over an embankment so I started to finish up my front wheel wells. Here's the before:

I just read straight through your build......and am loving it! That is one sharp nice looking XJ! I really like how all the mods you did served a purpose for you specifically and your job, rather than just throwing stuff on cause its the norm.
Kudos my friend.
and subbed.
